Where it all began: the band's debut album.

Gothamist's in-house Rolling Stones expert Ben Yakas is off today, so we'll be brief: the band have announced their 50th anniversary tour dates, of which there are only four. While it was rumored they would be coming to Barclays Center in November for the two U.S. dates, it turns out they'll actually be coming to Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center in December.

The decision was most likely a busine$$ one—Mick Jagger is, after all, a profit maximizer (you can read more about his boardroom side in Marc Spitz's Jagger).

The concerts are on December 13th and 15th, with tickets available on October 26th at noon (presale on October 20th). Tickets will range from $95 to... $750. Too pricey? You can always catch the film retrospective in December at MoMA.

For old Rolling Stones: Here's a look back at their 1966 concert in Queens that Don Draper attended in the last season of Mad Men. And recently someone found these old photos at a flea market, showing the band hanging out at a pool.
