Time to add one more Oktoberfest event to your busy drinking schedule. Because once again Shake Shack is celebrating Shacktoberfest. Just don't look at the calorie counts while you are enjoying your cheap beer in huge steins along with your not-cheap burgers.
So what is on hand for this Shacktoberfest? 25 oz. steins of Brooklyn Brewery Oktoberfest beer ($10 for the first stein of beer with $7 refills after that), a special $7.50 Cheddar Brat Burger (regular burger with flat-top griddled cheddar bratwurst, crispy ShackMeister ale marinated shallots and ShackSauce), a slew of special bratwursts and sausages and some Bavarian-inspired frozen custards to boot. Here's the whole run-down [PDF].
Really though, the fun is in all that beer going into your commemorative stein. $7 for 25 ounces of beer is not a bad deal. Shacktoberfest runs from tomorrow, October 12, through Sunday, October 21, at all the Shake Shacks not inside a ballpark. Who knows how long the steins will last though.
