A real life Derelicte Fashion Show will take place after the runway shows of the real Fashion Week have wrapped up. On September 21st and 22nd, some ridiculously good looking people will be gathering in Williamsburg to make the Derelicte vision you once saw in Zoolander a reality.
Taking a cue from Ben Stiller's cinéma vérité masterpiece, Zoolander, BBQ Films is asking the question "Is there more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?," They will attempt to answer that question with their next over-the-top event, the "Derelicte Fashion Show," so wear your best runway gear.
They promise hot male bartenders, gourmet Zoolander treats, Derelicte fashion photo shoots, orange mocha frappucinos, giveaways, and of course, a screening of the classic flick. Attendees are encouraged to come catwalk ready in their Derelicte finest—"be sure to look your best because we'll be casting a Derek for a special moment in the show, and bona-fide fashion photographers will be on hand for photo shoots." Start practicing your Blue Steel now, though the $3 beer and wine all night should help you perfect it when its game time.
The event will go down inside of Windmill Studios at 287 Kent at 8 p.m. both nights, and there are two different ticket options, which you can purchase here.
