A 41-year-old man was stabbed multiple times outside of a popular Park Slope diner early this morning. The stabbing happened around 2:19 a.m. outside of Dizzy's diner at 8th Avenue and 9th Street; according to police, the 41-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times in the arms, chest and back. He was taken to Kings County Hospital in serious condition.
No arrests have been made yet. DNAInfo adds that colleagues said the victim was a restaurant worker. A reader told Fucked In Park Slope that they passed by around 7:15 a.m. and saw "a pool of blood on the sidewalk." They walked by again at 10:15 a.m. as employees were hosing down the sidewalk and asked one what had happened: "'We're not allowed to talk about it' she replied. I pressed her as to why, and she wouldn't explain. She said 'It was internal' and 'there was some vandalism.' She would not elaborate."
