So we are now in the month of August—which means Fall is just around the corner. It also means that the time to once again apply for and (if you are us) not get tickets to see Saturday Night Live. Yup, NBC is doing their annual ticket lottery thing. Fire up your Gmail!

While many television shows offer tickets on a rolling basis, the Peacock's long-running sketch comedy show only offers them once a year—and only if you are really lucky. Are you feeling lucky? Here's how it works:

To enter the Saturday Night Live ticket lottery for the upcoming 2012-2013 season send an email in the month of August only to [email protected]. Please include all contact information and do not request a specific date. If you are selected, you will receive two tickets to a random show date and time. You may only send one email per household and all audience members must be at least 16 years of age. Please note that entering the lottery does not guarantee tickets, and you will only be notified in the event that you are chosen.

And if you get tickets and can't go, we'd be happy to take them off your hands!
