It seems that a hacker is currently working their way through MLB Facebook pages, with humorous results. Though the fake messages are being taken down as fast as they are going up, Deadspin is doing a good job of preserving them for posterity.
And while the Yankees message is pretty good—"We regret to inform our fans that Derek Jeter will miss the rest of the season with sexual reassignment surgery. He promises to come back stronger than ever in 2013 as Minnie Mantlez"—some of the messages popping up for other teams are even better. Like over at the Washington Nationals page the message is "We're going back to Montreal. SEE YA SUCKERS!!!!" and on the Chicago Cubs page the message was a simple "Fuck Bill Murray." And the SF Giants got a pretty good one, too.
