Have you ever checked out a Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governors Island? If you haven't, this video may motivate you to journey over on the ferry. This was filmed at the June 16th party, and features an appearance by Bill Cunningham (though we didn't spot Hipster Cop). The video moves at a perfect pace and includes a narrator reading parts of The Great Gatsby. Click play, keep refilling those Gin Rickeys, and you may just be transported to 1920s NYC.

The next lawn parties are on August 18th and 19th—buy your tickets here.
