This morning, a school bus driver was attacked by another driver in the Bronx. And police say that the other driver was upset because the school bus hit his double-parked car.
The school bus driver, a 65-year-old man, had "reportedly hit the back of a vehicle at the intersection of Anthony and Echo avenues and got out of the bus to see what happened." See, Anthony Avenue is very narrow and the bus driver was apparently trying to avoid hitting the car, but the bus driver ended up clipping the side-view mirror off.
Witnesses and the police tell the Post that the double-parked driver punched the bus driver repeatedly; a witness said, "The bus driver wanted to call the police, but instead, the owner of the car punched him twice." The bus driver is being treated for head trauma while the angry driver is at large.
