According to a new lawsuit, one pizzeria by Yankee Stadium has been selling some sexy sides for the past few years. According to a former waitress, Stadium Pizza offered "a smorgasbord of waitresses and bartenders moonlighting as prostitutes." And after working (but not working) for the barsteraunt for seven years before being fired, 29-year-old Olga Contreras is suing for sexual harassment.
The Post reports that Conteras "says she was forced to clean up 'numerous used condoms,'" and that "because the owners forced her to lift heavy items, she suffered a miscarriage after she got pregnant by her boyfriend." Further, she claims that she was finally fired in March after "she walked into the kitchen and said in broken English, 'I am hungry.'"
Nobody answered at the restaurant when we called for comment this morning, but for what it's worth a recent Yelp review seems to back up Conteras' claim:
The waitresses in no way know English (Jagger-mai-ser = jagermeister, Yak Dani-yol = Jack Daniels) and the jukebox is entirely in Spanish. Those mispronounced shots? Only $5!! Also, last time I was there the waitress told me there was a girl wandering around pretending to be a waitress but she was really a 'working girl'. So she was working there, but she wasn't working there. Get it? Bathroom is gross. Did I mention I love this place?
