Pauly D wants to get your drunk. The Jersey Shore star who isn't dating Chloe Sevigny, has a record deal with 50 Cent and has a still-going spin-off show on MTV which we've certainly never seen (and don't know anyone else who has) now has another business to deal with: a new line of "pregame" "ready-to-drink" vodkas called Remix coming out in June. And what is really scary is how much money the deal could be worth.
Paul DelVecchio already made $4 million from each of the last two seasons on Shore and sadly buyers are reportedly very interested in the possibilities for his new 13.99 percent alcohol drinks which have a suggested price of $14.99 and come in the following "flavors":
1). Oye Mojito, a fresh combination of juicy peeled lime and muddled mint, a nod to Pauly's signature catch phrase "Oye Mojito"
2). Yeah Yumberry, a one-of-a-kind mix of red berry and raspberry with a hint of dark berry, a play on Pauly's ever popular "Yeah Buddy" tag line
3). Strawberry Holla-peno, an unexpected blend of ripe strawberry and jalapeno with a hint of heat, a shout out to get fans fired up and get the party started and
4). Starfruit, a unique mix of starfruit and apple lime, a play on his own new star power phenomenon.
Unlike other reality personalities who've failed in the booze game, DelVecchio's line seems much more of a "shore" thing than say, Trump Vodka. Helping his case is the fact that one of the guys behind the deal, David Kanbar, helped found the inexplicably popular line of (allegedly toxic) Skinnygirl Cocktails from another reality face, Bethenny Frankel. That line sold for $100 million in 2011. So, is Remix going to be this summer's Four Loko, we ask you? And is that better than Lime-a-rita? We certainly don't know since we still haven't been able to find any!
