A.O. Scott, the NY Times' film critic, is generally a pretty even-tempered guy, except when it comes to certain blockbusters. But when it comes to huge, weekend-long food-and-music festivals at Prospect Park, Scott says this: "hey #GoogaMooga: EAT ME!"
You can read his Twitter for his GoogaMooga-related rants, but here's a sampling:
nice Spring day, perfect for a quiet stroll in Prospect Park. or would be if not for awful #GoogaMooga

@jwordfish but unimpeded foodie hipsterism awaits everywhere else in NYC. so why kick out the picnickers and cricket players?
— anthony o. scott (@aoscott) May 19, 2012
Scott is taking solace in the fact that the beer lines are long and toilet paper is running low. And what's the over-under on knows when GoogaMooga will become a "an easy, quasi-hip contemporary reference to be exploited in romantic comedies" the ways food trucks are?
