Have you ever wanted to dine on delicious pastas underneath an Illumination Lawn? If you head to Lincoln Center and really want to treat yourself to a luxurious brunch, enter Lincoln, the Italian restaurant tucked underneath a shimmering parabolic swath of grass.

Lincoln, which opened in 2010, offers two courses for $32, and diners can choose from antipasti, pastas, and main entrees. (On our visit, the brunch menu differed slightly from the one online [PDF]—a white asparagus with chopped egg antipasti and mache as well as a sea bream entree were available.) The standouts were the pastas—the strozzapreti neri alla puttanesca was a tangy, spicy and succulent while the linguine all vongole with clams, pancetta, ramps and bread crumbs gave us our ramps fix for the week.

The brunch is not cheap (especially when there's a $14 prosecco bar beckoning; desserts are $10), but it is a less-expensive option to trying similar dishes during the dinner service. Many dishes on the brunch menu, like the strozzapreti, are on the dinner menu starting at $24. While portions may be larger for dinner, the brunch version of the sea bream—which is offered for two people at $60 at dinner—seemed generous, especially after a rich spaghetti carbonara. And let's face it: If you go all out at brunch, then you have the rest of the day to walk it off!
