Bruce BROOOOCE Springsteen has been gallivanting his way across this hard land with his merry E-Street Band, performing killer show upon killer show. Today, Springsteen announced more dates for their world tour, including three nights at MetLife Stadium in NJ. Which means there are now three more chances for The Boss to hide on the backstreets, to chug fans beers, and to tuck Chris Christie in for bedtime.
Springsteen and the E-Street Band will play the stadium which replaced Giants Stadium on Sept 19, 20 and 21 (tickets go on sale next Friday). Giants Stadium holds a particular significance for Springsteen: he played there 25 times between 1985 and 2009 (when it was demolished), and it serves as the main character in the song "Wrecking Ball," the title track from his newest album. Below you can see a new video from the album for "Death To My Hometown," compiled from live performances and rehearsals at the spectacular Apollo show last month., Atlanta, and SXSW (and featuring Tom Morello).

Springsteen will play Newark's Prudential Center on May 2nd before heading off to Europe for a summer tour, but fans can expect the band will be switching up the setlist by the time they come back to town: "Generally speaking, in the first half of the tour we usually emphasize the new album," guitarist Steve Van Zandt recently told Rolling Stone. "The second half of the tour tends to loosen up a bit, get a little bit more spontaneous, a little bit crazier." Which means you can expect some cool random covers, like the one below:
