Internet dating, for the most part, is pretty safe. But it does have its dangers! Like, oh, getting robbed. Which is exactly what apparently happened to a 50-year-old woman recently after she went on a date with a younger man she met on the interwebs.

According to the NYPD, the woman met up with the suspect at a bar on the Lower East Side on Friday, March 9th. It is unclear how the date went, but we'll take a guess and say it wasn't that great since that night she dropped him off at the F stop at 2nd Avenue. Only after he'd gotten on the train did she realize that her wallet and iPhone were no longer on her person. And the man, who may be named "Hayden," was no longer reachable. The NYPD isn't saying what website the pair met on.

Police are now looking for Hayden, allegedly seen above. They describe him as being between 25 and 30, 6'1" and 165 lbs. with corn rows in his hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
