We're often accused of wielding a cyclist slant here at Gothamist, so allow us to give you an unfiltered perspective from one cheery Staten Island motorist. The Staten Island Advance pointed us in the direction of YouTube user "we5leyz," who has a camera mounted on his dashboard that captures him blowing his "train horn," cursing at jaywalkers as he speeds through intersections, and making illegal U-turns.
Here he is keeping his foot on the gas when encountering jaywalkers. At least he has the courtesy to blow his horn.
The only thing worse than jaywalkers might be texting drivers.
ISN'T IT NICE TO KNOW THERE'S SOMEONE KEEPING A CALM, LEVEL HEAD AND NOT TEXTING ON THE ROAD?!! FUCK!!!!!!
Stupid schoolbuses, always bringing kids to school. Nothing a loud honking can't cure.
A little illegal U-turn on the sly never hurt anyone.
And why drive a Nissan Juke if you can't let that baby purr...in a school zone?
"we5leyz" also posts videos of his girlfriend, his car getting its oil changed, and says, " "I have video from my deployment in Iraq." Lest you think HE'S biased against cyclists, here's him riding a bike.
Now someone just needs to come up behind him in busy Manhattan traffic and honk their horn. Isn't startling people funny?
