Oh dear: A pet store owner is freaking that a seven-week old Yorkshire terrier puppy that was stolen from his store will end up dying. Why? Because the puppy "needs a special diet and multiple feedings to survive," according to the Post.
David Dietz said that two people walked into Puppy Paradise, his Marine Park pet store, on February 16 and took the store's $1,400 dog. Apparently surveillance video shows one person "stuffing the puppy under his coat." Dietz said, "After watching the tape, it didn’t look planned — but they did take the most expensive dog we had... They’ll try to sell him or give him to their girlfriend or mother or something stupid like that," but this particular pup needed vitamins and a lot of attention, "Without special care, he “is going to die ... He could be dead already."
No arrests have been made yet, though a store employee did ID suspects in a photo lineup.
