It's pledge week at WFMU again, and tonight is #TomThon, that special time of the year that you should hand over all your cash to radio host Tom Scharpling.
Last year, Julie Klausner told us why we should be giving money to him, and she raised some valid points—plus, since then he's been Tweeting fan fic encounters with Lou Reed and Chris Christie at Starbucks. Isn't that enough for you people?
Tonight's show (tune in at 9 p.m.) will feature Klausner and Ted Leo, and if you donate more than $75 you'll get an issue of the Best Show Magazine (the 1st!), a CD, a sticker, a stress ball, and a bunch of other stuff. You'll also get a warm feeling inside of your body that comes from donating money towards keeping this ride going.
You can pledge by calling 1-800-989-9368 or online at WFMU.org—we'll make it even easier for you:
And don't forget to follow Tom on Twitter for more updates and details on #TomThon.
