Yesterday was apparently a rough one for New York's older fashion set. Not only did 95-year-old fashion maven Zelda Kaplan collapse at a show and later die but everyone's favorite photographer, the Times's amazing Bill Cunningham, was struck by an SUV!
Apparently Cunningham was hit outside of a Reed Krakoff show but don't worry! It seems it wasn't that serious. The eightysomething got right back up and started taking more pictures. Reportedly he "seemed a little embarrassed by the attention it caused more than anything!"
Oh Bill, we're glad you are okay. And now we're going to have to go and rewatch Bill Cunningham New York!
Update: We're told by a very reliable source that Cunningham wasn't so much hit by an SUV as his foot was run over by an SUV cab. Still, he's doing okay!
