Police suspect that a seven-year-veteran NYPD officer has been moonlighting as a pimp. Officer Monty Green has been the subject of an Internal Affairs probe since 2009, and hasn't been formally charged with anything. But their investigation report claims they have taped evidence of him “discussing prostitution-related activities.” Green denied the charged to the News: “That’s not me. I don’t know anything about that.”

The probe began after Green was caught in a wiretapped phone conversation with Andre Dickenson, who was later charged with a double murder. Later, Green was taped talking to suspected pimp Jason “China” Marshalleck; during that conversation, Green admitted having sex with a hooker and said he wanted to pimp the woman out. After that, the NYPD set up a sting operation against Green at a hotel, in which he “agreed to bring strippers to the location, but failed to show up at the last minute."

Altogether, Green has been the subject of nine department investigations, including associating with criminals, menacing and official misconduct. He was also placed on modified duty in December 2009 over an unrelated menacing case involving an unidentified woman, sources told the News.

No criminal charges have been brought against Green, partially because the suspected prostitutes were intimidated and refused to cooperate with prosecutors: “It was presented to the Brooklyn district attorney’s office for prosecution. The DA said there wasn’t enough evidence,” said NYPD spokeswoman Kim Royster. “We are now moving toward filing departmental charges against the officer, and our plan is to terminate him.”

Last year, a teen girl sued the city claiming that a different rogue NYPD detective forced her into prostitution when she was 13-years-old.
