A Long Island police officer pleaded guilty to making a woman touch his clothed private parts in exchange for not ticketing her friend. Garrett Mannerz, 34, who resigned from the Nassau County Police Department and was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, was arrested after the victim recorded one of the phone calls he made her. Nassau County DA Kathleen Rice siad, "Nassau County is a safer place with Garrett Mannerz off the police force."

According to the Nassau County DA's office, back in February, Mannerz stopped a car that made a U-turn on the Hempstead Turnpike at 4:30 a.m. Newsday reports, "After ordering the driver out of the car and administering sobriety tests, Mannerz told her to get back inside and said she was 'borderline on the Breathalyzer.' He then ordered another passenger out of the car, asked her to turn around, and called her "sexy," prosecutors and court papers said at the time."

Apparently Mannerz took her to his unmarked car, got her phone number and told her he wouldn't ticket her friend if she "did something for him." Which was touch his clothed penis. Prosecutors say he grabbed her hand and made her grope him and also said he'd call her for a date. WCBS 2 reports, "Within two hours, Mannerz began a series of sexually suggestive telephone calls to the passenger he had grabbed."

Mannerz' lawyer pointed out his client made 123 DWI arrests (the second most in the department), "Officer Mannerz's years of tremendous service should not be overshadowed as a result of one incident."
