Before Kim Kardashian clamped her thighs of doom around New Jersey Net Kris Humphries, she was apparently hunting down a sightly different prey: A Knick.
Wetpaint is reporting that Kardashian's producers tried to ensnare former forward Danilo Gallinari into dating the reality star, promising him that it would be "good for his career" and get him "lots of media exposure."
Apparently, both E! and Kardashian were interested in "having her date a big New York athlete for the debut season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, and the Knicks were their first choice." Nevermind that he was 22 at the time, to Kardashian's 30—age ain't nothin' but a number!
Sadly, Gallinari declined (and was later transferred to the Colorado Nuggets, which may or may not have been related to that fateful Kardashian rejection). Kardashian went on to have her Ultimate Dream Wedding with Humphries, which, in true fairy-tale tradition, is already rumored to be on the rocks.
