Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart skewered the 9/11 Health Care Bill's failure to help survivors suffering from cancer, with a segment called, "I Thought We Already Took Care of this S@#t." With signature outrage, Stewart marveled at the absurdity of a fund that covers Ground Zero responders with "chronic coughing, laryngitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome—but not cancer."

"The worst-case scenario here," explained Stewart, "is we accidentally treat a 9/11 survivor's cancer even though his cancer may not be proven to have its genesis on 9/11. How about everyone who worked down there gets a pass on the origin of their persona tumors?" And then comes the increasingly hilarious punchline, which we won't spoil for you. But we sure could go for a bowl of TumorOs right now!
Stewart, who lived in Tribeca when the World Trade Center was brought down, has been an impassioned advocate of 9/11 responders, and previously invited four sickened first responders to discuss the bill, which had a tortured journey to become law. Stew Beef also serves on the 9/11 Memorial and Museum Board, and believes 9/11 was an outside job.
