Yesterday afternoon, the students at PS 161 in Harlem were in for a bootylicious surprise during their PE class, when none other than Beyonce herself stopped by the gymnasium to dance to her song "Move Your Body" with them (in four-inch heels, no less). Looking fine while shaking in her tailfeather in an all-white getup, Miss B is clearly having a good time, and the kids are nothing short of thrilled.
The stunt was part of Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" campaign to fight childhood obesity—in fact, Beyonce recorded the song specifically for the initiative (and check out her snazzy "Let's Move" tank top). The First Lady was shaking her own groove thing in D.C. yesterday, busting out classics like The Dougie, The Running Man, and the Cha-Cha for students there.
“Beyonce is one of my favorite performers on the planet. And when she agreed to remake her video and do this ‘Let’s Move’ flash workout, I was so excited, because this is what we’ve been talking about—that exercise and moving can be fun,” Obama told ABC News. Indeed! And we thought Bey did so well with the little ones, we can't help but wonder when that baby Hova is coming our way…
