We would like to issue a public "thank you" to whoever is putting up Dolly Parton street art. We spotted this piece in DUMBO this morning, which appears to be an homage to the country icon. If for some crazy reason you are not a Dolly fan, click play and be converted:

In other Dolly news, the musician is currently jumping on the Royal Wedding bandwagon and wants to sing a duet with Elton John at the event. She suggests "I Will Always Love You" as the perfect first dance tune for Prince William and Kate Middleton, saying, "Wouldn't that be great... Elton John could sing a duet with me. I'm sure he was probably invited, I wasn't invited."

The legendary lady also recently admitted she sleeps in full make-up "when I am in Los Angeles and New York because I usually have to stay on high floors." In New York she explained she fears an evacuation situation where she'll be forced to hit the street unprepared; "I don't wanna get arrested for indecent exposure: 'Oh my God, did you see Dolly?'" In Los Angeles, she explains, "I always keep a little wig or my earthquake clothes next to me—something I can jump into real quick and have my make-up on. I take my make-up off the next morning and put on new make-up."

Can someone please start a petition or Facebook campaign to bring this woman to New York City, perhaps a big ol' concert in Central Park this summer (sorry Green Day).

UPDATE: Turns out this all leads back to a purse! Amy Dee wrote us saying, "Those pieces were initially meant to be used on purses that I make but the quality wasn't good enough so I'm doing a street art self promotion with those bad boys." She's got some Dolly purses for sale, people!
