With the Beastie Boys Adam Yauch "all clear" on the cancer front, it's about time for some new music from the boys. Well, can you wait a month and a half? Considering its been almost four years since The Mix-Up we suspect you can. So how does May 3 sound?
We hope you like it since that's when the trio's Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 is expected to drop. As you'll remember Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 was delayed when Yauch's cancer was diagnosed. Curiously, when the sequel to the never-released first album was announced the Boys' press release explained: "In what can only be described as a bizarre coincidence, following an exhaustive re-sequence marathon, Beastie Boys have verified that their new Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 will be comprised of the same 16 tracks originally slated for inclusion on Hot Sauce Committee Part 1."
Also, related.
