February is over and that means it is now... St. Patrick's Month? At least that's how March sometimes feels to us. See, because of New York's large Irish population we don't just boast a city-wide St. Patrick's Day parade on the actual holiday, we also have St. Patrick's day parades spread out across the whole month (and city)! Looking to get a little luck of the Irish? Here's where you'll want to be:

On Saturday, March 5th, head to Rockaway for the the 35th Annual Rockaway Queens St. Patrick's Day Parade, which starts at 1 p.m. on 129th and Newport Avenue and then turns down 116th street then turns on Rockaway Beach Boulevard and ends on Beach 95th Street. Prefer your Irish drunken and disorderly? Head to Hoboken, where the action starts at 1 p.m. at Washington and 14th Streets.

Sunday, March 6th, the celebration continues on Staten Island (with Young Dems and Tea Partiers alike marching) where the parade we like to call Staten Paten kicks off at Hart Boulevard and Forest Avenue at 12:30 p.m. Meanwhile, at 1 p.m., the gay-inclusive Queens parade (actually its all inclusive, hence it occasionally going by the moniker "St. Pats Parade For All") starts its march at 43rd Street and Skillman Avenue in Sunnyside. And because sometimes two is not enough, at 1:30 p.m. the parade in Yonkers gets going.

The next weekend most of the St. Patrick's parades in New York are upstate, but we do still have one here in town. On Sunday, March 13, the Bronx gets to show its Irish pride with the Throggs Neck St. Patrick's Parade, which starts at noon at East Tremont and Lafayette Avenue, goes down Tremont to Harding Avenue and then down Harding to Brinsmade Avenue.

On Thursday, March 17—the actual St. Patrick's Day—the St. Patrick's Day parade itself marches up Manhattan. And this year it is celebrating its 250th anniversary! Being in the middle of the week, this one starts early (11 a.m.) and works its way up Fifth Avenue from St. Patrick's Cathedral to 86th Street, ending around 4:30 p.m.. Can't get out of the office? You can watch the whole thing live here.

And just because the holiday is past, doesn't mean the parades are over. On Sunday, March 20, Brooklyn has its parade which starts at 1 p.m. at 15th Street and Prospect Park West, heads down 15th to Seventh Avenue, down Seventh to Union Street, up Union to Prospect Park West and then winds up right where it started.

Finally, on Sunday, March 27, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, has its parade starting at noon at Fourth Avenue and and Marine Avenue. The final parade of the season then works its way down Fifth Avenue to 60th Street.
