If you were at South Ferry Terminal yesterday you may have seen a bunch of people in matching outfits doing crazy stuff with swords. They would be the performers of the 26th Annual Half Moon New York Sword Ale, a group of all female traditional English sword dancers, who are currently being joined by dancers from all over the country.

Today they'll be dancing at the First Unitarian Church in Brooklyn, the Old First Reformed Church, and St. John's Episcopal Church before all teaming up at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Brooklyn Museum. Here's a video of a group performing in 2010 at the Brooklyn Museum. Please, don't try this with real swords.
