Have you ever sat back and thought to yourself: "Self, what I really need is a ferry." You have? Well today is your lucky day! The former Staten Island Ferry "Gov. Herbert H. Lehman" is currently listed on eBay for an absolute steal of a price. The Kennedy Class ferry, built in 1965 and retired in 2007, can be yours for a mere $500,000!
The functional ferry can carry 3,500 passengers as well as up to 40 vehicles (related: what ever happened to getting cars back on the ferry?) and can get a service speed of 16 knots. This could be the party boat to beat all party boats. But you better act fast! The auction, which currently has no bids, ends tomorrow. They're looking to sell though, so cash offers are being "considered."
