We're guessing a good chunk of the city is pretty hungover today after the partying that went on after last night's win against the New England UGG Spokesmen. Rex Ryan-style hubris (now completely justified) spewed from the mouths of fans across the city; David Stone told the Daily News, "We took care of business—New York style! They can match up with any team. Go Green, we'll take on anybody!" And this time the professionals agreed.

As Bill Simmons said last night, the Pats were especially "outcoached" by Rex Ryan. Defensive lineman Trevor Pryce said, "We did some stuff I've never seen a pro football coach do...I don't know how we did it, but we made one thing look like this, and another thing look like that. When you can confuse a Hall of Fame quarterback, you know your game plan is working.''Bart Scott went even further to add insult to the Pats' injury, saying, "Disrespect us, talk crap about the defense like we're not the third best in the league. All we hear is about their defense. They can't stop a nosebleed. Twenty-fifth in the league."

Ryan himself of course seemed ecstatic over the "personal" win, smirking that Brady "may not study like Peyton Manning, but he's still pretty good." However, he did acknowledge the hard work the win took. He reportedly told SI's Peter King, "We listened to every suggestion known to man this week, from players and coaches. Used a lot of 'em." So celebrate now Jets fans, because soon begins the mounting panic attack that will climax at next week's game against the Steelers.
