According to a report from Fox Sports, football enthusiast Brett Favre admitted to NFL officials this week that he had left voicemails for former Jets in-house sideline reporter Jenn Sterger. However, he denied that he had sent her inappropriate text messages and naked pictures. For her part, Sterger continues to play footsie with the NFL's investigation, but her lawyer refuted claims that Sterger was trying to extort money from Favre: "We haven't spoken with the Favre camp and Miss Sterger's credibility is not up for sale."
