We'll say this for Iranian President and clown-of-the-decade nominee Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: he puts his money where his big fat mouth is. After he gave his annual please-pay-attention-to-me speech at the General Assembly last month, he called on the U.N. to form a committee to get to the bottom of 9/11. When the liberal elites of that fascist organization ignored him in their typically smug fashion, he was undeterred. He borrowed a page from fellow rebel Inspector Clouseau, and formed a ragtag posse of independent truth-seekers to investigate 9/11 themselves. (You can see a video of his "eureka" moment below)
During a visit to Lebanon, Ahmadinejad said that the team will "examine the facts and discover the truth of the Sept. 11 events [which] is the demand of all the peoples of the region and the world." Just to be clear, this is what he purported was the truth when he spoke to the U.N. last month: that “some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order also to save the Zionist regime.” Which doesn't sound very neutral in bias to us, but we better be careful what we say: an Iranian blogger who spoke out against Ahmadinejad was recently arrested with no reasons given.
