A judge has ruled that Kosher Sports, purveyors of fine kosher hot dogs at Citi Field, can serve food on Fridays and Saturdays, even though the Mets said it would be a violation of Kosher law for the company to do so. Kosher Sports claimed they had rabbinical permission to sell food on those days, and Brooklyn Judge Jack Weinstein said during a hearing yesterday, "I cannot get involved in (a dispute) over rabbinical law." Though the case is pending, the judge ordered the Mets to let the company serve snacks in the interim.
