When hiring deliverymen to care for the sacred iPad, Apple might want to run a bit of a safety test first. Robbers were apparently able to swipe $5,000 worth of iPads by simply asking the driver to look the other way. One thief managed to grab five of them off a truck on Tuesday morning in front of the Upper West Side Apple store, and on Thursday a man stole a box while an accomplice distracted the driver by asking for directions. This is precious cargo, people! Pay attention!
