Just after the Brooklyn Bridge Park ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday, a 41-year-old Long Island woman jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge. According to the Daily News, she survived the plunge and the NYPD Harbor cops pulled her from the waters. Susan Cloud is currently in critical condition at Bellevue Hospital. The drop is 120-feet, and has been survived before—in December a 22-year-old woman recovered after taking the leap, and last January a man walked away from his jump off the Manhattan Bridge.
