Wednesday is turning out to be a day of rest between storms. Just over 1.5 inches of precipitation fell yesterday and last night. More is expected tomorrow! Today we'll just see drizzle and clouds with a high near 40 degrees.

Tomorrow, oh brother, do we have to talk about tomorrow's weather? Our advice to you, dear Gothamist reader, is to not believe a word you're about to read. Even if it turns out to be correct!

By this stage of the winter you know the drill. A low pressure system is expected to develop off the Carolinas and move up the coast. The forecast models do not have a good handle on this storm but it is expected that the city will be right on the rain/snow line. The city could see several inches of snow or just a messy rain/snow mix, but we'll definitely see a lot of precipitation.

There's not much cold air behind this storm, which is perhaps a sign that winter is drawing to a close. We should see gradually clearing skies starting on Saturday with highs in the 40s all next week.

Because the apartment might be very small and not that affordable, here are your early links: Congestion pricing is paying for new subway elevators, G.W. Bridge has a new pedestrian walkway, not so many airplane barf bags and more.
