Another day, another barrage of Conan O'Brien news items to filter through. With just a few more shows left at NBC, last night Conan declared: I am just three days from the biggest drinking binge in history." He also said that he'd be "making a move to Fox... Megan Fox."
No matter where he moves, NBC is trying to muzzle him from any more trash talking. As of this afternoon, TMZ reported that's still the hang-up keeping his severance deal from being finalized. His lawyers are also still fighting for more money for his staff in the departure deal, and the Daily News reports that NBC is starting to take some biting shots at the host. Someone at the network allegedly said: "It was Conan's decision to leave NBC that resulted in nearly 200 of his staffers being out of work. We have already agreed to pay millions of dollars to compensate every one of them. This latest posturing is nothing more than a PR ploy."
Luckily, amongst all these harsh words, there's some humor to be found in the below video. The same people who explained, in animation, the entire Tiger Woods affair to us... have now tackled this late night television debacle in the same amazing style. And thank goodness for that.
Meanwhile, Gawker TV has some clips from all the shows last night compiled in a nice, neat little post if you're thirsting for more.
