According to the Hartford Courant, DNA belonging to Raymond Clark, the Yale animal lab technician charged with murdering graduate student Annie Le, was found near where evidence was hidden: "The final piece that led to his arrest Thursday morning was the discovery that evidence in the ceiling and in the crawl space where Le's body was found contained the DNA of both Le and Clark." Also suspicious: "One investigator [interviewing employees and students shortly after Le disappeared]... witnessed Clark trying to hide lab cleaning equipment that they discovered contained blood spatters.
Clark, 24, was observed cleaning up areas that Le was in before she was reported missing." The NY Post says that another lab employee has been questioned in connection with the case, and the Daily News' Michael Daly painted this picture of Clark, "Clark did not want to be just some guy who cleans mouse cages, so he distinguished himself by always signing in for work with a pen that used green ink. Every day, including the day of the killing. Investigators believe he dropped the pen at the scene and was unable to retrieve it after it fell into a crevice."
Le, 24, went missing on September 8 and her body was discovered on September 13, her wedding day; her fiance's Long Island temple is planning a memorial.
