Details are emerging about the victims and apparent shooter in the Upper West Side murder-suicide. Police believe that Michael Ruiz killed Debra Silver and Dan Tedlie in Silver's West 93rd Street apartment before turning the gun on himself. It's believed Ruiz was Silver's jealous lover when he burst onto Silver's platonic dinner with her ex-boyfriend Tedlie. The Daily News reports that Tedlie was getting ready to move to Colorado this week. Tedlie's mother said of her son and Silver, "They were good friends, and they loved each other that way." Further, Ruiz was married with two children in NJ; a neighbor said of Ruiz, "Wendy and him were happily married, as far as I could tell. He's into archery and hunting. He was a very nice guy, kept to himself."
