Even though we heard that people might try to line up last night (the rain probably scared them away), when we passed by Lombardi's this morning, Gothamist only saw them setting up their "5 cent Pies ALL DAY" sign. And a lot of police barricades, for the pizza-loving public who love a good deal, because today is the day that America's first pizzeria is celebrating their 100th year in business.
Let us know if you get in - Gothamist will try to make it through the scrum, but we may have to settle for taking pictures of the mobs of people.
