A building under construction has collapsed at Broadway and West 100th Street, injuring at least four people. WNBC reports that 30 FDNY units responded and are trying to look for victims under the rubble. Also, 1/2/3 subway service has been suspended.
Curbed says it's one of the buildings that developer Extell is tearing down for new construction, two apartment buildings over 30 stories high. Updated: The NY Times says people waiting at the corner for a bus were trapped, including a baby.
